Services are designed for teens and young adults who want to strengthen their social communication skills in ways that are practical, supportive, and directly connected to real life.

Individual Sessions

Sessions begin one-on-one to build rapport, understand each client’s strengths and needs, and introduce key skills in a structured, supportive setting.

During this time, we may work on:

  • understanding how thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected

  • improving conversational skills (starting, maintaining, and ending conversations)

  • recognizing tone of voice, body language, and social cues

  • developing a stronger social filter and self-awareness

Small Group Sessions

As clients are ready, they may transition into small group sessions to practice skills with peers in a supportive environment.

Group sessions focus on:

  • turn-taking and topic maintenance

  • perspective-taking in real time

  • navigating group dynamics

  • problem-solving social situations

Community-Based Therapy

A key part of this approach is practicing skills in real-world environments.

This may include outings such as:

  • ordering and interacting at a restaurant

  • making small talk in public settings

  • navigating unexpected situations (e.g., something goes wrong with an order)

  • managing social expectations in shared spaces

These experiences help clients move from “knowing” what to do → to actually doing it with confidence.
